Rustom declares he's gay Actor and "Pinoy Big Brother" (PBB) housemate has admitted that he is gay during the PBB Celebrity edition on March 1. Rustom bared out his "other self" to fellow housemate Keanna Reeves, saying that he joined the reality show to have the chance of revealing his homosexuality to the public. "I realized that I am gay...Sinasabi ko sa'yo ito ngayon, sinasabi ko ito sa lahat ng tao kahit mahirap dahil hindi ako masamang tao," Rustom said. Rustom shared that his "confusion" about his sexuality started in a traumatic experience with his dad when he was three years old. He said his father caught him dressed in a girl's clothes then beat him while his mother and siblings just looked on. Rustom said he only settled his confusion when he went to the United States to soul search after his failed marriage with actress Carmina Villaroel. The Padillas, meanwhile, expressed their support for Rustom, applauding his honesty and courage to come out in the open. -------------------- |
